I have a daughter with TERRIBLE Asthma....I never could go into anything but a non smoking restuarant....YEAH for VALPO!!!! By the way is the "BIG WHEEL" restuarant still in town ? No, it closed and will be replaced by a bank. The hospital cafeteria has a similar menu for the old-timers who were very sad that they closed. The area from Big Wheel east toward Sturdy Road will have new development and businesses and Bryce was reported to have been involved in one of the businesses.

The City-County council (Marion County & the City of Indianapolis have Uni-Gov) has banned smoking in Indy in all places of employment since March 1, 2006. This includes restaurants. There are exceptions for bars that pay a 25% increase for their liquor license fee, bowling alleys and hotel rooms (not to go over 20% of the available rooms).

The train is moving full-steam ahead down the tracks. It's just a matter of time before we see every state in the union with no-smoking ordinances. Thank God!

Had lunch at Jimmy's Cafe the other day, they still allow smoking throughout...I wonder how long they will be able to do that?
