I figure someone should start the thread!
I'm going to presume that something resembling last Saturday's Crusaders will show up this evening.
VU 72 UIC 56

Now that Valpo is locked into the No. 4 seed, should Homer rest the starters tonight?

I think I would play them, and start the game normally, but I would sure play them very limited minutes.
If there's any chance of making the dance, you're going to need all your energy to even have a shot.

Win = play YSU on Tuesday. Lose = play UIC AGAIN on Tuesday.

Now that Valpo is locked into the No. 4 seed, should Homer rest the starters tonight? So we might see Witt for more than the usual 60 seconds and Vucic at all? Forgive me if I say I rather doubt that will happen, though it makes some sense, given that this game is pretty meaningless (except for pride, of course).

Homer said the team would decide how to approach tonights game...so it should be interesting to see how the guys want to play it. Either way, we play Tuesday night....

I guess the only way this game matters is based on which UIC team shows up? We have our seed locked, but they don't yet. Give the starters some playing time, but don't keep them in forever.

Stlvufan and I are over in the chat room, come on over, if you're wanting some live talk about this game, or whatever else we will talk about.

We won and looked better in spurts. It was good to see Eric look to score. Let's hope that a couple of days of rest will provide time for Mike's back to recover.
Ryan has to find his shot!

I heard some comments last night about Michael Rodgers. Could be just gossip but the word was that Rod said his lower back was out of allignment. i don't know if that is something a chiropractor could be brought in and pop it back into place like a dislocated shoulder, or if that is something that takes him out indefinately. Again could just be rumor and speculation but that is what I heard last night.

He was in some real pain that is for sure. That would explain the board behind his back. At one point he had a knee brace in his hand, but he never put it on. Hopefully it is a back situation that is not too bad. As someone with a bad back I know how it can really stop you in your tracks.
