OK guys, I just got done watching the DVR of the Milwaukee game. I tried to tabulate as well as I could the "questionable" calls, or non-calls on each team and my score is 5 against us and 3 against them. That's not the disparity I was expecting by some of these posts. My son coaches in high school, and is the sports editor of a newspaper near here, and he told me the refing was not that bad and I would have to agree. Yes, they missed some, but they always do....all in all that did not cost us the game...and remember, many of our fouls, 7 I counted, occurred late in the game when we were trying to come back so that always make it look worse...also, it's sometimes when you foul that means the most. It seemed we kept sending them to the line, while their fouls did not happen to us on shots, etc. My take was we were a step slow all night....probably do to the amount of games we had to play, but a super effort for the guys...and congratulations to Milwaukee. How about the "two-handed shove" that got Homer out onto the court to draw a technical?

It's with a heavy heart that I read much of the feuding on both sides of the fence.
I have the utmost respect for the Valpo program and think the Crusaders are a wonderful addition to the conference. I root for VU practically every time it's not playing Milwaukee.
Unlike the Youngstown add, it's one that makes sense for all parties concerned.
I think you all have terrific passion for your program, as you should, and represent the league extraordinarily well when you travel.
Good luck in the NIT, where this season's team most definitely belongs! Continue your upward trend and we'll see you for some more fierce but honorable battles next year.
Let's go, Valpo!

That obviously was one of them...also the end of half screen...the blocked shot against Broekhoff.....and a couple of others....not as many as you might think...plus there were at least three that I counted where we got away with something. As has been stated before, It's College Basektball...things happen

Thanks, dylan. The veterans here used to get into it with rival fans in the old Midcon too, and there were a few games here and there that provoked strong feelings. We'll get over it, don't worry. Losing at the end of the season is always hard to take, but hopefully there'll still be a substitute postseason to play in and we can make the most of it, and in either case, November is "just around the corner" (and for me, there's MLB to fill the void ). Now, go beat Butler, ok?

Take heart, you don't have anyone over there remotely as bad as this particular individual. I think we'll be fine. Hopefully you all are the same
