Rick, just start a blog..your act here is getting tired. I'm at a point now where I'm tired of reading your political drivel that is much more appropriate for a blog where you can moderate it how you want. Now I see why everyone else ignores this part of the forums. We are given the right to our own opinions, and when we try to voice ours with you, you come back with reasons that you're the only one who should know how to run a government. The problem with your ways now are that no one else has a chance to be right or thrivingly successful because you won't let them unless you tell them how to do it your conservative way.
From this point on, I'm taking my liberal viewpoints and going away. I'll be a better person for not associating myself with this portion of the forum altogether.

Oh I see, when I refute your crap, my act is getting tired. LOL! If you are so tired of reading my political drivel, why did you respond? You just don't like seeing the truth exposed about your savior so now you want to take your marbles and go home. Fine with me.

Democrats stand for the following: 1. Higher taxes. Never look first to cutting expenses. Always increase budgets in amounts greater than inflation and raise taxes first and ask questions later. 2. More government regulation and interference in people's lives. 3. More subsidies for people who don't work. 4. Punish people who work hard to become successful. 5. Reward lazy people who contribute little-to-nothing to society. 6. Reward bad behavior: can you say bailouts to finance companies, banks, and individuals who bought more home than they could afford and who lived beyond their means? 7. Lust for control over businesses and individuals. Can you say GM and socialized medicine? 8. Inefficiencies in everything they stick their noses into. Always spend as much money as you can and never be good stewards of the people's money. 9. Deficit spending and raising the national debt. Assume Keynesian economics and expect a return on government spending to increase economic activity by a factor of greater than one. That way we can spend trillions of dollars per hour of taxpayer money and get an economic benefit in excess of the amount spent. Forget that Keynesian theory has never worked as Obama's stimulus has already proved.

Democrats envy and covet.
ENVY: A feeling of discontent and resentment aroused by and in conjunction with desire for the possessions or qualities of another.
COVET: to desire wrongfully, inordinately, or without due regard for the rights of others: to covet another's property.
These definitions are perfect descriptions of the Democrat's innermost feelings; their philosophy; and their political ideology.

I'm very impressed with him and wish the republican party had more people like him. Are you from Wisconsin granny?

That is right – I will say it: THANK GOD FOR BARAK OBAMA WHY? He destroyed the Clinton Political Machine – Driving a stake thru the heart of Hillary’s Presidential aspirations – something no Republican was ever able to do. Remember when a Hillary Presidency scared the daylights out of you! He killed off the Kennedy Dynasty – No more Kennedy’s trolling Washington looking for booze and women wanting rides home. American women and Freedom are safer tonight! He is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes! Dennis Moore had never lost a race – quit Evan Bayh had never lost a race – quit Byron Dorgan – had never lost a race – quit Harry Reid - Soon to be GONE These are just a handful of the Democrats that whose political careers Obama has destroyed! By the end of 2010 dozens more will be! In December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles they had picked up 14 senate seats and 52 house seats. The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party. In one year Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the house, if not the senate back to the Republicans. He has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are. Every Generation seems to need to relearn the lesson on why they should never actually put liberals in charge. He is bringing home the lesson very well! Liberals tax, borrow and spend – check Liberals won’t bring themselves to protect America – check Liberals want to take over the economy – check Liberals think they know what is best for everyone – check Liberals aren’t happy till they are running YOUR life - check He has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan In One year he rejuvenated the Conservative movement and brought out to the streets millions of Freedom Loving Americans Name me one other time in your life that you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in taking back America ! In all honesty one year ago I was more afraid than I had ever been in my life. Not of the economy but of the direction our country was going. I thought Americans had forgotten what this country was all about. My neighbors, friends, strangers proved to me that my lack of confidence of the Greatness and Wisdom of the American people was flat out wrong. When the American People wake up no smooth talking teleprompter reader can fool them! Barak Obama woke up these Great Americans Again I want say Thank you Barak Obama! (author anonymous)

Not from Wisconsin, Just an "old" conservative & happy to see someone like Ryan, who seems to have strong conservative values. Was not impressed with HC TV show,BOTH parties paraded out many of the old warhorses, that quite frankly have let time pass them by & many shouldn't even be in congress, let alone taking part in a meeting with a purpose of partisanship.

Are you from Wisconsin granny? Not from Wisconsin, Just an "old" conservative & happy to see someone like Ryan, who seems to have strong conservative values. Was not impressed with HC TV show,BOTH parties paraded out many of the old warhorses, that quite frankly have let time pass them by & many shouldn't even be in congress, let alone taking part in a meeting with a purpose of partisanship. Especially members like Charlie Rangel-a tax cheat on the Ways and Means Committee, John McCain-who hasn't quite stopped thinking that he's campaigning for President, Nancy Pelosi-the clueless political puppet, Harry Reid-Still riding his Vegas popularity high. About the only Democrat who said anything credible was Dick Durbin from Illinois, "If you think our health care is Communist (or even Socialist), then drop out of the federal health care system." All in all, this was not a good bipartisan representation of trying for "working together to make a better plan". It was more of the same ramblings and arguings that we can commonly watch on C-SPAN or C-SPAN 2. (According to CNNPolitics Twitter page) RT @samfeistcnn: CNN Analysis of HC Summit talk time: Dem Members: 135 min. Obama 122 min. Dems total: 257 min. GOP Members: 111 min. This is a breakdown of how much time was used by the two parties and Obama in their discussion of this atrocity of a bill. That's some audacity...the Democrats talk for a combined time of 4 hours and 17 mins, and the Republicans fall 9 mins. short of 2 hours...that doesn't even put the "bi" in bi-partisanship, right rick? As liberal, I will admit that you'll never get bi-partisanshp doing more of the same and allowing those in your party to speak for 2 hours and 15 mins, and the Republicans can't break 2 hours, and didn't seem to get listened to as much as admonished in a terrible sense for using the "doorstops" that were written as the proposed House and Senate bills on health care...what I really wanted to see was someone from the GOP come in and either take the bill and put a few pieces thru a shredder or throw the whole thing in a wastebasket, to show that they really believed in the possibilities of throw out this 2400+ page monster of a mess that the Democrats want to shuffle thru like it is an incentive to what? I'm not congratulatory of anything that happened in this "summit". I do wish that there was more of this activity going on, in terms of the people getting to see this kind of talk happening between the members of the house and senate, but it won't happen as long as we have some members on both sides of the aisle that still don't understand that you don't have to present some much crap to get to the purpose of what you mean to say in your agreeing or disagreeing with the contents of the bill being presented. I personally have a lot more research to do on this health care bill, but right now..I wouldn't want to vote on it at all.
