Well I'm sure we all remember our first year in the HL when we looked really good in the first two games of the tournament and then really battled Cleveland State in the semifinals. You could tell the guys were tired in that game and they battled hard despite that, but in the end, just couldn't quite pull it out. Here's to different results this time!
Neither Marquette nor the Bucks are playing across the street so I think that the crowd will be quite sizeable. It will definitely be a hostile environment.
I'm looking for some fans to do the ounce per point challenge with me again today. Last time we did was the Missouri State game, and that turned out pretty well! Who's with me?!

Hopefully we won't have a phantom charging call like the one on Jarryd Loyd when he scored to tie the game against Cleveland State. The replay shows there was no contact on the play, although it did appear that there had been.

I don't have a good feel for this game. Not quite sure what to expect. BWood can't be that hot two nights in a row and Cory just isn't any good at this point. Broekhoff will have to shoot well (which I expect), and I am not sure if we know the status of Buggs. Kenney and Harris will have to shoulder that load, and I am not positive what that does to the depth/rotation.
Milwaukee's the Horizon League champ, well rested, and at home. Losing here would be disappointing, but not unexpected.
I know this for sure, Valpo's biggest fan tonight is Butler!

I'm very confident Valpo will pull this one off. Wood will be on fire still, and it's going to be hard for him to lose his touch in 24-hours. I'm sure the place will be crowded, but then again, they only pulled 4,000 for Butler. Tickets are for both games and I'm sure Butler and Cleveland St makes for about 2,000 fans. I'm glad we're playing here rather than Butler, who we'll hopefully avoid on Tuesday. Hope plenty of Valpo fans show up again. ARC North???

I would much rather see Valpo play Butler at Hinkle than CSU at the Wolstein Center. The way CSU plays is to just foul as much as possible and know that the officials can't call all of them. This strategy of theirs tends to work pretty well at home where a team will typically get the benefit of the calls. I don't want to see a game like that.

I'd love to go to Butler Tuesday night...short drive...but probably would find a way to make Cleveland too if needed...the important thing, we need to be in the game, no matter where it is

Here is what you said before the Detroit game: Detroit wins. I just don't have any faith in their ability to win games that count in light of thier finish in conference I don't think it will shock anyone if you predict us to fold our tent at either Butler or CSU is we win tonight. As for Cory, he is averaging 15 ppg over the last 4 which is slightly better than his 14.1 season average. His boards are about the same as well. Dude, do you see a pattern here? Perhaps you and rink could team up and get a group discount at the local shrink.

Now that Butler has defeated Cleveland, we know who we will be facing next!

It was fun to here the fans chanting "we want Valpo" at the end. We want Butler too. Butler was 1-3 against the teams tipping off here shortly.

Milwaukee with the ugliest shoes ever. So far a decent start. Buggs looks quick and not hampered by ankle injury. Tonight is about 5 minute games. Win or tie each 5 minutes. No reason to worry about being tired if you break the game down.

Matt Kenney is not very good at basketball. I have no idea why he gets the minutes that he does. He's not working out.

That was a terrible stretch. Valpo in danger zone early. UWM is fresher. Need to fight through. Homer trying to rotate early but Wood needs to be freed up.
