IF, and it is a BIG if, Kone is ruled ineligible, then, Valpo's season has just come to a crashing end.
This assumes that the NCAA rules him ineligible for the entire season and we have to forfeit all of our games. This would make us 0-7 in the mid-con and we finish last even if we win out. No conference tourney and no NCAAs.
I'm not sure what the NCAAs options are, as he has already "forfeited" two games of eligibility. Is there a middle road? Seems that if he did something wrong or received some sort of benefit that he would be ineligible since that time. Who knows...Let's hope and pray for his sake and Valpo's that this is cleared up quickly and in our favor.

Why would you say "ineligible for the conference tourney" if they would win out? There's 16 Mid-Con games, right? And you're saying if Valpo would be forced to forfeit, they'd be 0-7. I think if they won the last 9 they'd make the tournament. You think Centenary or Chicago State, or even Southern Utah, is going to win more than 3 conference games?

Ali becomes the "leader" or tries to become the leader because we don't get a big lead anymore because we can't do any rebounding. It becomes a free-for-all where everyone tries on his own to get us back into the game. Ergo, Chicago State beats us and we are lucky to go .500 Say what you will but the team is not the same without Kone. It just isn't! The dynamics completely change. We don't even come close to having an inside game and the teamwork falls apart. We become a 4th-place team without him. Book it! Southern Utah wins tonight.
