Are the Lady Crusader's records against HL teams collected somewhere on-line?
The only one I'm at all aware of is Butler, since we've been part of that Classic the past few years and played them at least once in that event (at the ARC, I think).
Also, I was wondering what will happen with that event next year, do you think they will continue it, now that we'll be playing Butler home-and-home anyway?

I think this classic would continue, it just might need a couple of new teams to help alleviate the battle between two conference foes. Since it usually featured Valpo, Butler, Ball State and Indiana State, I could see IPFW, IUPUI, or Evansville being added to alleviate the Valpo-Butler game issue.

Thanks. I think now what I was really curious about was which teams have we played since they left the Mid-Con. You reminded me that I knew they played Loyola recently.
What interests me is that Butler and Loyola are the only 2 teams they have played within the last 4 years or so.
I guess I was trying to form an impression of how long it would take the Ladies to acquaint themselves with their new conference rivals.

Ah, yes... I was looking for "Illinois-Chicago" in the media guide...they are, in fact, listed as "UIC" That's because there is in fact no such thing as "Illinois-Chicago" believe it or not. The media is just in a fond habit of being incorrect more and more these days if your school is not a member of the so-called "power" conferences... and they still include the A-10 and C-USA in that group. The University of Illinois at Chicago is officially known as UIC for all athletics references, just as the University of Alabama-Birmingham is only UAB, University of Texas-El Paso is UTEP, UNC-Charlotte is Charlotte, UW-Milwaukee is Milwaukee, etc. etc. etc. A quick 15 second look at any NCAA Division I school's official athletics site can find you the correct name of any schools teams. The people that put together Valpo's media guide/record books apparently took the time to do that. Unfortuntely for the Horizon League, the members of the national media no longer do so. Lazy journalism, nothing more. I guess we just need to change our league's name to "Conference Horizon USA-10" or something, and then maybe it'll happen. Or not...

In my days, we referred to the school as "The Circle", barely acknowledging the UI part; so much so that I used to think the "C" stood for "Circle".
