What are your thoughts about ORU drawing Washington St. in the East Region? I think they can upset the Cougars and then they would draw either Vanderbilt or George Washington, either of which they could also beat. I hate to admit it to my fellow Crusader followers, but I feel they could make a Sweet 16 run and face Georgetown in the regionals.. Good luck to the Golden Eagles. They drew a good chance to be a Sweet 16 team this year.

I watched ORU in the Mid-Con title game vs Oakland, and was very impressed. I remember thinking they could win one or even two NCAA games they looked so good in the second half of that game! Then I saw their draw of Wash St... I've seen the Cougars play several times this year, and they really are one of the best 10 or 12 teams in the country. I just don't see this game happening for ORU. Nothings impossible for a team at their level (see win @kansas), but it's not likely if the Cougs play as well as they're capable of playing. I'd like ORU's odds a lot vs Vandy or GW, but they won't get the chance.

I really like their chances with Wash St.. First, apparently WSU plays a slow down control the score type of game. I think that's better for ORU then the race horse Memphis game of last year.
ORU will be bigger and if the refs let Caleb play he, as always will be a load which should open it up for Tutt and the boys from outside.
If ORU is shooting well from the 3 I really expect the upset.

Washington State does not have any NCAA experience, whereas ORU does. ORU will win this game, as much as I hate to say it.

I am an avid Pac-10 watcher and I've seen Oral Roberts play a couple times this year. Believe, me, ORU has no chance. WSU has a complete team this year and have won many close games - quite a surprise since they were picked toward the bottom of the PAC.
