If you are responding to another post, just hit the quote button to the right of their post. It will put that persons post between the quotes tag like this:
Which will turn out like this:
If you are trying to quote selected text, just copy and paste it into your reply, then highlight the entire selection, and simply press the quote button (bottom row, second in from the right.) That will add the same quote tags to before and after the selection, and the result will be the same quote box look.
