The locking of the negative threads is really weak. If something is terribly wrong (and something is terribly wrong) we should be littering this place with concerned posts.
If we go on a winning streak, and everyone starts posting good things- are we going to lock down multiple threads patting Homer and the boys on the back?
"I'm gonna close this one down.. there are too many 'everything's great' posts right now. If you want to add this to the 'Homer is God' thread, I will leave that one open."
Confining our complaining to one line of thought is a type of censorship that I don't appreciate.

Confining it to one line of thought makes it easier to find everything that has been said. I did not like having to search through 6 threads to try and find a point someone has made. It is not censorship, say what you want about our losing. I just want one "grumblings" post, so that other threads aren't lost because we have lost 4 games...

I unlocked the "Defense" thread, since that one does at least discuss a different aspect. The others are all too similiar to be separate threads.

Major thumbs down on locking threads. If this continues, I'm going to start a new voy board and don't think I won't, mister!

Go right ahead... there is no need to have 4 different posts on the same thing. I am not censoring anyone, just trying to keep things neat around here. I don't want some good threads to fall off the first page, because we have 10 different "The coaching stinks" threads.
I am just asking you guys to post in another thread if there is one that deals with what you want to say.

Now now, there are three completely different discussions among those locked. I know it's a a tremendous inconvenience to scroll three extra threads down, but hang with me here and see that each has it's own unique take on the team.
"Coaching" discussed Homer's future with the program.
"Anyone Have Scott Drew's Phone Number" was talking about criticizing a head coach from the "media's" perspective as well as from an actual player.
"The Real Problem" actually addressed the real problem the team was facing.
I'm terribly sorry, but I feel I have no choice.
Minus 1 reputation point for you.

Ok...
But don't you see how at least the first two could be discussed in the same thread? I don't want you guys to think I am trying to censor or stop discussion that is negative or testy. I did it primarily to try and keep things tidy around here and partly to remind you guys to check the threads before starting a new one.
That is all, sorry to ruffle feathers...

I have unlocked all threads... enjoy.
Just make sure you skim through the current topics before adding a thread that is similiar in the future.

Major thumbs down on locking threads. If this continues, I'm going to start a new voy board and don't think I won't, mister! And then I'll start MY own message board on Voy. And then Ivy6 will start his own, too. And then, instead of having to wade through multiple threads to make points, people will have to wade through multiple message boards.
