Since the other thread was locked (and was supposed to be about Butler, anyhow):
Pinging some contacts at Valpo, I don't hear about any particular departments that seem to be on the chopping block. All the departments were asked to consider how they might save money, or increase revenue (to meet a targeted, worst case, reduction). Some decisions will apparently be announced before Spring Break.
General education programs are rumored to be vulnerable, but they must always be tempting targets.
