apparently not. even on my little tv buried in my little corner of vu, he comes across as a whiner. i don't even want to know what he was like these last couple days after being held to 8 points by oklahoma. he gets away with so much that he looks about to die of shock when he does finally get whistled for anything. i'm glad to see something decent came out of missouri, but the attitude does not seem to match the talent level.

I think I've made no secret that that is how he comes across to me when I see him on my TV as well. Heh, I'm just glad that on my frequent visits to Poplar Bluff I'm not inundated in the least with any Tyler Hansborough bravado. Apparently the folks I spend Sunday morning with about once a month on average aren't that much into basketball. In fact, I think I'm the only one that ever brings up the sport.

Maybe the people of Poplar Bluff have had too much time on their Hands, Bro :-(. I believe their lives consist much more of rodeos and mining in that part of Missouri. PBMO is known as the "Gateway to the Ozarks." It is actually one of the fastest growing (at least until the recent economic down turn) small cities in Missouri. PBMO is a good place to bring a small industry and find a labor force that is willing to provide skills needed at a fairly cheap expense. It is also the home of Linda Bloodsworth-Thomason a writer and along with her husband producer of the television show "Designing Women." The Bloodworth-Thomasons are good friends of former President and Secretary of State, Bill and Hillary Clinton. Also the man who does the voice of Scoobey-Doo hails from Poplar Bluff, Scott Innes.

Maybe. Maybe not. Poplar Bluff played Lawrence North on ESPN a few years ago (back when LN had Greg Oden, Brandon McPherson, and Mike Conley).
