Not sure if most know this, but Jay Cutler whom the Bears just got from Denver actually has roots in Chesterton. His dad was a pretty good high school football player here, and still holds the school touchdown record. His mother is also from here and he has relatives that still live here.......It will be interesting to see what he can do with the Bears, who still need to find someone who can catch the ball on a consistant basis before this makes any difference....i am a Kyle Orton fan and don't think he's ever been given the weapons to become the quarterback I think he will become, but being a Bears fan, I hope this works out....

Will Lovie give him the free reins to take risks that Shanahan gave him? That's the question that interests me the most.

I have to agree with rlh. I thought that Orton really was coming into his own. I know that Cutler's numbers are better but I think he had more talent to work with. I think he could have a rude awakening in Chicago.
