sadly, the cardinals didn't play like they wanted to win today. what really got me was yesterday when marmol hit pujols in the 9th inning, and the cubs fans started cheering. do they really have no class? granted, the cubs fan i went to the game with was alright-at least she didn't cheer the hbp.

Well, it's cool that you had tickets to the game. And it was nice weather. Saturday is rare in Chicago sports history - Bulls win, Cubs win, Sox win, Blackhawks win. I'm sure by Sunday we'll hear when the last time that happened - I'd say it has to go back to at least 1998, at least counting playoff wins for the Bulls and Hawks.

The one that got me was that I heard when Pujols nailed Oquendo with a line drive, Cub fans cheered. That was even worse. :censored And people still buy into the fallacy that the low-lifes are at US Cellular Field.

Had to jump back on this thread. On my way to work this morning I was laughing my head off as Mully and Hanley on 670 The Score were convening the North Side panic button convention. SWEEP! SWEEP! SWEEP! I have a picture on my cubicle wall of the "I" in the BIG MAC LAND sign after Albert turned out its lights, with the caption "BIG MAC LAND 0, Albert 1", put up as a graphic, I believe, by FSN Midwest. Lou is thinking of moving Soriano to 2nd and putting Hoffpauir in Left and I am just absolutely loving it. I must say, Cub fans were a lot easier to put up with this week

La Russa would make a "crazy" move like moving Soriano to 2nd base without blinking and he doesn't care what people think and somehow he keeps winning. Pinella jokes about it with the press but doesn't pull the trigger. I wonder which players appreciate their manager more.

HEHEHE I'll repeat what I posted on my facebook page: "Hey Brew Crew: Beat the crap out of the Cubs, *THEN* I'll be impressed. Until then, you're just wasting time and pissing me off." If the Brewers would quit wimping out against the Cubs like they have the past 2 years, I would be just fine with them representing our division. I've had enough of the Choke artists being handed the division and then flopping in the NLDS because the Brewers were "satisfied" with the wild card. Man-up when it really counts, Brewers!!!! :censored
