I just have to rant a little about Albany's jerseys. I watched a significant portion of their game tonight against Syracuse (a game in which Jim Boeheim got his 800th career win!) and I can't help but be baffled by the way they decided to write their school name on the jersey. It took me about 5 minutes to try and figure out what it said. "UALBANY" in all caps and smashed together like that! Very confusing especially since the "U" looks a lot like a "V" and their school colors are Purple and Gold and their jerseys are black?"
Edit: Apparently "UAlbany" is the school name their athletic teams officially use (like how UW-Milwaukee wants to be called just "Milwaukee"). I still think it's stupid though!

I wonder if it is supposed to separate them from the old CBA franchise, the Albany Patroons from that same Albany, NY that UAlbany is home of?

After the way UIndy played against Valpo you might confuse them with the Pacers. :-)

I was watching the Seattle-Okla St. game this afternoon on channelsurfing.net, and I saw that Seattle has "SEATTLEU" on their jerseys, and until the Sonics moved to OKC, I'm guessing Seattle took the same approach for the reason of separating themselves from the Sonics.
