We just received a letter from Bryce asking for our monetary help in replacing the floor in the ARC. For $1000.00 or more,if requested, you will receive a placque and a piece of the old floor. Nice. Our check is in the mail. Hell, at my age that may be the only piece I get this year (only kidding). So, join us this endeavor and GO VALPO!

Sure didn't think it would take $500,000 to get the job done. Anyway, I applaud your contribution and can't think of a better way to honor Homer! GO VALPO!!

Also received Bryce's letter, and feel the same way. Wouldn't it be nice if many, many VU fans, alums, etc. would chip in monetarily to whatever extent is possible. Of course, I also wish and hope that the floor is just phase 1 of an ARC upgrade and remodel. But, that project is for another time I suppose.

It really "floored" me that jj would give that kind of money to Valpo for a new surface in the ARC. Since jj would rather pull the rug out from under the football program instead.

That's probably the exact reason why jj gave a donation. It wasn't for football, and it was for something in a program that he doesn't want to see dropped from the athletic department.
