When President Obama cheered for the White Sox instead of the Cubs........................people said it didn't matter.........BUT THEY WERE WRONG! The White Sox won a World Series in the President's life time.

The White Sox won a World Series in the President's life time. Please... If you think there is any significance in Obama being a White Sox fan, you are kidding yourself. The guy knows nothing about the game or the team. It is simply a publicity stunt that is meant to help him seem more like an "everyman." If you can't see through this charade, I'm sorry for you. The guy refers to the ballpark, U.S. Cellular Field, as "new Cominsky Field" (spelling error of Comiskey is intentional to relate the way he pronounces it). What a joke! |

You're correct of course...check out the Nationals broadcast when the President threw out the first pitch at Nationals Park (no naming rights yet...such as Goldman Sachs Field..."we'll put your money into anything even the Nationals") and then Rob Dibble asked the Prez who his favorite White Sox player was.
