Just saw on the Indy TV news that Mayor Costas has lost his bid to become Indiana's Attorney General despite the endorsement from Gov. Daniels.

Surprising since he had so many endoresements from the "top" members of his party, especially north of Indy. He would have been a good AG...but don't count him out. He's going to be in state politics in some manner shortly...maybe even governor someday.

If I were Costas, I would have pleaded for Daniels to endorse the other guy. Touting a Mitch endorsement in Indiana is about as helpful to a campaign as bragging that Bush is in your corner.
