I think this is just more proof that the administration and AD want to see football succeed. Think about this: When was the last time we had an announcement of this type for an assistent coach in football?
My guess is this guy didn't come cheap which once again says "let's get serious about the football program and bring in guys who can win and have proven it"
Unlike many years in the past, I'm actually looking forward to seeing the transformation take place!

I know there have not been any results (in terms of a win-loss record) yet, but it is great that Mark Labarbera has hired a coach who has hit the ground running. Sure, there will be some mistakes made but a guy who dives right in and starts to stir the pot by making good hires makes me excited for the upcoming football season.
Should I be budgeting for a trip to the Gridiron Bowl?
