If the news of the new head coach is true, and since it is so late in the process, what if any coached on the current staff would you keep? Full time - Wissing, Benardi, Taylor, Lee ( 1 st yr at Valpo this past season) Part time - Hanson ( usually does what Benardi does), Gray , Fussell, Baker , Glover G.A's - Barringer , Knight Now remember the assistants are usually old coaches from around the area who were head coaches. Assitants are hard to find. The only reason Fusselll got the rb's job this last time is because he was the only one to apply. Who would you keep on this staff?

I doubt that Bernardi and Taylor would stay...Lee and Wissing might...
I'd like to see Knight and Barringer stay as they played major college football...and i Knights case...pro football.
My guess is no one stays though...

Time to change the culture completely. Keeping anybody on the staff will be a very, very bad sign in my book. I am not saying they are all bad coaches, but sometimes cleaning house is necessary. In this case it's an absolute must!

From rumors and feelings going around and what I gathered from the press conference I believe Benardi will stay which I believe is good. He is a very good coach and expects the most out his players.... its just sad he has been under two morons as head coaches.... Benardi also has a lot of ties within Valpo... His brother in law is the baseball coach and his dads law firm has given considerable amounts of money to the University.... I would like to see him stay on, but as the special team coordinator and remain the recruiting coordinator.
