revisiting VU interest in the Porter Hospital site

Per the article, it seems VU has some level of interest in the property. I wonder for what use? More student housing? Athletic venue enhancements? Educational buildings?

The university has consistently acquired property adjacent to its current footprint. This includes houses on McIntire (sp?) as well as homes near old campus.

The hospital site could be used for many things including parking, a new fieldhouse, a new arena, a new academic building or two, a new dorm, the options are many.
