To put into perspective how tough it is for a midwest team to do well against teams from the south and west, get a load of this:
Our conference champ, Milwaukee, was eliminated by San Diego, 22-1 Now THAT is a drubbing!!

I believe the last Big Ten team to make the College World Series was that Michigan team with Barry Larkin back in the early 80'S.

Oh, for my HS & college days when the likes of Michigan & Mn.used to actually win ths MCWS.......Probably last team from Midwest that might have won was Wh.State,quite awhile back. They do still have a great stadium at the school & so does softball to match it.
