The writer calls it a "home-and-home" series with Cincinnati, which connotates one game at each venue. When you read the article it's actually a two-for-one, which makes a lot more sense. I couldn't imagine Cincinnati agreeing to a straight up home-and-home with anyone in the HL, with the possible exception of Butler.

The article mentions WSU's record against the six power conferences as 3-25. Does anyone know the VU record against the six power conferences, and the record at home? Would the ND victory in 1988 count - was ND in the Big East at that time?

Well. I know we've beaten ND twice, Ohio State once, Penn State once, Mississippi once, Florida State once, Washington once, so that's seven and I'm sure there are several more...

Also West Virginia and on successive days South Carolina and Seton Hall.

Stl - Would you mind explaining your thread title? I don't see any reference in the article to Dayton. Even trying to read between the lines I don't see a reference to Dayton.

To some it is a travesty that Wright State can't get Dayton to agree to play them (they're practically in the same city, WSU is in nearby Fairborn, OH). It's the WSU version of us and Notre Dame, only Dayton is no Notre Dame, prestige-wise. I pictured folks at WSU, upon hearing of this news, saying "Screw you, Dayton. We're playing UC instead. Ha!"

Right! That was so obvious.

Wright State ---------> Dayton Valparaiso ---------> Notre Dame Milwaukee --------> Marquette Yep. That's why I could so identify with you guys a couple of years ago when you were sparing with a Marquette fan or two on your board about the series you have with them.
