I see that Keith Kizer (’88) is being honored with an Alumni Achievement Award this year. :clap Apparently, his beloved Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity has fallen on hard times. Can this inspirational figure help turn his house around? Can anyone shed light on what has happened to Sig Taus in recent years? Attachments:

Can this inspirational figure help turn his house around? Can anyone shed light on what has happened to Sig Taus in recent years? the quality of students that they've attracted is sub-par. they rivaled theta chi for most off-putting fraternity on campus. not to mention the frequent altercations (and occassional pumpkin wars) the two groups had...

The nerd is again being nerdy again. Heck,he must have been blackballed by both fraternies, hence his animosity toward them. Get a life nerd, you can't be a turd for the rest of your life.

His post has nothing to do with being a nerd, JJ. In fact, he is dead on the money here. Members of these two frats are not all up-standing citizens anymore, regardless of what you experienced last century.

Is underage drinking still allowed at the fraternities? I am not sure it was ever allowed, but it was certainly enjoyed!

the short answer is that yes, it does still happen. i haven't heard of any instances where any fraternities at vu have banned their underagers from consuming.

If you google Keith Kizer you will see what an asset he was to Sig Taus. Unfortunately, his departure led to the downfall of Sig Taus. The house will lose its National Register of Historic Homes status if its not fixed up soon. Anyways, following the demise of Sig Taus after Kizer left was their pitiful neighbors across the street who worshipped and copied Keith's flagrant, riveting dance moves. Poor TCs. Tears just roll.........
