I would invite everyone on this board to read the latest entry from Coach Carlson's football blog. It is impossible to read his comments/thoughts and not come away impressed. I would also ask everyone to give our new coach some grace during the upcoming season. We may be in for a rough stretch this fall, but, given time, I think this coach will help usher in a new era for VU football. Paul

So, it was Gloria Christi? A hundred guys? They must have about filled the place!
Still on a summer one-service schedule?

I was very disappointed when I got to Valpo to learn that the faith experience there was a glorified social circle, mostly dominated by an obnoxious clique of impetuous phonies, insecure in their own beliefs, and desperate to fit in and follow along. Most secular period of my life. Pretty ironic.

Have to agree with Rink on this one, although he and I were there at the same time, we came in from different high school backgrounds.

Check out his latest post from yesterday. I'm really getting excited about this coach and the way he runs his program. That opening game, under the lights, should be very exciting!!

Very impressive. It was very well-written and the way he and the staff are handling the players is unprecedented - in a good way.
