Just beat Northern Iowa - was tied with about 10s to play.
Youngstown had a good near miss tonightl, taking Akron to overtime before falling.

And that's some kind of schedule Akron has. This was their first of four consecutive games against Horizon League opponents.

Just got back from the game and I'm completely drained. UNI lost some key guys from the top of their rotation (Adam Koch, Ali Farokhmanesh, Jordan Eglseder), but it's looks like the same old UNI to me. They have some important parts back in the fold from a year ago (Khwadzo Ahlhegbe, Lucas O'Rear, Johnny Moran) and are efficient as ever on offense with the shot clock ticking down. Make no mistake, our guys had to battle their tails off to get this one after Anthony Hill was disqualified on "fouls" with 4:02 remaining. I just wanted to reiterate how cool it is having Valpo in the league and having fans of the respective teams cheering for one another when we're not on the same court together. You folks are first-rate.

Definitely a quality win for Milwaukee and the Horizon League. UNI was picked to finish 3rd in the Valley and have had a lot of recent success.

Nice to see UWM rebound a little after their losses out on the West Coast. Loyola drubbed Western Michigan at western michigan yesterday too. loyola seems to have a very solid team this year.
