Just watched a very exciting game against Marquette. Final Score was 75-72 Marquette. The closest game in this leg of the series (which resumed in the mid 90's) prior to tonight was a 15 point loss in 1997. Of course, this was the first time Milwaukee was the home team in that stretch.

Drained again. Disappointed but inspired after a dismal effort against Western Michigan.
This was Milwaukee's first home game against Marquette since 1931, when there wasn't even a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, but a Milwaukee Normal School (a predecessor).
It should be noted that 28 of the 38 losses came when our program wasn't even D-1.
I'm just very proud of the program that we had a chance to send the game into OT at the final buzzer. Marquette, of course, remains a big-time program with stellar athletes.

We are off to a 4-1 start, with the only loss coming at Akron in OT last week 91-84. Akron hit a 3 at the buzzer just to send it to OT.
