Kinda fun to look at the bottom of the barrel on these matchups... Independent: Seattle sent to DeKalb vs. NIU Bottom Rated: Sacramento State to South East Missouri State & JacksonvilleSt gets the trip to Ypsilanti to play EMU...that ought to pack'em in !

csu's gonna have their hands full at vcu. great facility, great fan support, and a very good team that plays a complete game.

thanks for catching that. talk about off my game... i honestly have no idea where that came from.
but odu will be a good test for csu. they're dangerous when they're shooting well. and they can play fast or slow, and have no problems with bump-and-run play.

Evansville beat Missouri State tonight 77-65 at Roberts Stadium in Evansville. That makes the Bears 9-3 in the Valley and 17-6 overall.

UE has really come along nicely this season. Currently tied for third with ISU after being picked dead last in most of the preseason conference predictions. Maybe that Butler loss to Evansville wasn't so terrible after all.

I'm looking forward to this matchup. Should be a good game.
I think the HL commissioner should be working with the MVC and OVC in getting some games scheduled scheduled between the leagues on a rotating basis. Maybe even a double header or two. VU and Butler playing against Evansville and Indiana State in Indy. Or, Bradley and Illinois State playing UIC and Loyola in Chicago.

I'd like to see VU and Butler get on a schedule with Murray State and Austin Peay.

From today's Post Tribune story 2/12/11: Vitale coming to the ARC: Famed ESPN broadcaster Dick Vitale will be at the ARC for next Saturday’s BracketBuster game against Missouri State, which will be shown on ESPN2. VU said there are fewer than 750 tickets left for the game. That is a lot of seats already sold for an opponent that was just announced a couple weeks ago. Hope to see a full house on ESPN2

Hope to see a full house on ESPN2 a lot of the tickets sold were part of a package (with the csu game, i believe). and the sheer fact that the game will be on espn2 means the students will be out in force. the student body tends to be tv whores. there's no point in going if they can't try to get on tv.

I actually like Dickie V, because while his quotes might be a little tired, he truly enjoys the game of basketball and I can't say that for a lot of anouncers.
