OK...first off I apologize if I missed something, but I did look first before asking. What is the latest on Witt and Kurth? Are either of them coming back this year? Witt could certainly add some bulk up front for 5-10 minutes per game and Kurth could give some quality experienced minutes at the point.

Last I heard, they're still hopeful Witt is going to be back this year and that Kurth is going to redshirt.
Anybody else know otherwise?

there was hope that cameron was going to be back before christmas break started. obviously that hasn't panned out. if he doesn't come back, could he apply for a medical redshirt too? or is it limited to 1 per team per season?

Kurth is red-shirting. Witt is practicing, but is not in the rotation.

Here is a kid who based on his play at the end of his freshman year I really thought might contribute last year and be a solid contributor this year. Is there any chance he could really contribute this year? If not, why not red shirt this year so he has two more years after Johnson graduates and we will be short of big men again. (I'm not counting on the 7 footer at all.) Or have we given up on him being anything more than a practice player.

Agree with the end of his freshman year assessment. He looked really comfortable on the floor two years ago. Granted, it wasnt a very good team, but he worked hard on the floor and had positive results against quality bigs. Injuries have really set him back. lowposter
