D2 basketball is a pretty high level. Let's not go knocking these programs. It is all about finding a level which one is comfortable, can compete, make contributions, and achieve personal growth.
It wasnt going to happen at VU.
I wish him well at his school. Our society needs productive members. Three schools in three years should have been a wake up call for him.

For the record I am not knocking D2 or NAIA basketball in the slightest.
So how does LJ starting for Pitt State, one of the better Div.II programs in the country, recollect with him being the worse Div I basketball player in history? It doesn't. You guys who made the comments
"he's STILL the absolute worst D1 basketball player I ever saw"
"by not fulfilling the obligations of him as a student athlete. He will get absolutely no sympathy from me." (never did understand what he didn't do)
"Jones is the absolute last one I am interested in seeing an update. He was a problem child when he was here, created chemistry problems for the coaching staff, violated team rules, broke the law, quit school half way through the spring semester before he flunked out, and trashed the coaching staff and program on his way out the door. Whether he's shooting 30% or 80% at some D-2 school somewhere is beyond meaningless." (far from meaningless because this proves that if Jones could have stayed at Valpo he could have made contributions in his other playing years at Valpo. He certainly would not have been the only player to ever make a complete 180 degree turn in attitude from his freshman to senior year)
