My vote for most improved player from the start of the season till now.....Jay Harris. He really seems to be finding himself, at least offensively. Buggs and he make a pretty good complementary duo and even played together at times today.

Both good choices. You could also make a good argument for Mike Rogers. He looked terrible for most of the non-conference season and the last month or so has really been providing some quality minutes off the bench.

Harris has been shooting lights-out from 3P range for three games now. Maybe a little too soon to be definitive, but it's been very good to see!
Before the Butler game: 8/39. Against Butler, YSU, and CSU: 8/11.

Solid performance by Harris against CSU. Spectacular against Butler. He not only hit his shots yesterday, but handled pressure quite well. Buggs's defense is approaching lock down status, particularly at home, where the quick fouls are not called (normally). BTW, excellent set of officials yesterday, and other than a couple of calls, they did a pretty good job...those two offensive fouls in 1H (Ryan and a CSU makeup call) were a little weak. They set the tone early against CSU and then backed off the 2H. The Vikings did only have 4 fouls with 2 minutes to go, enabling us to keep Eric in the game a couple of possessions. Yes, we did get caught with him on one shooting foul. Sorry for hijacking the thread. Mr. Rogers play quite well yesterday. There is plenty of offensive firepower on this team. He rebounds and defends quite well and picked up efficiency points yesterday. Now, if Witt can provide a lift, the rotation will be more than ample. His playing time will be limited, unless Homer decides to go big. lowposter
