Big time W. I stepped away for an errand at half time, then came back and saw us up by 11. Amazing to come back against a big crowd.
Now as '72 has said, we get a Detroit team with a Butler game hangover. Whether they win or lose vs. Butler, they will leave it all on the court.

Now that it's over, I'm glad I missed the 1st half. Watching the 2nd half was pure joy!

I didnt see or listen to the game, however....down 40-33 at half, on the road with 8400 in attendance, and winning by 11 on 38-20 second half beatdown. It sure looks good on paper. lowposter

I think Valpo is making a case for designation as the scariest team in the HL.
I know one thing: I'll no longer be happy with a split (I won't be pissed by a split, unless we just lay an egg on Sunday, but the more this team succeeds, the more I've raised my expectations).

Agreed StL. I hope I'm not setting myself up for a tremendous let down on Sunday. Go Packers, Go Crusaders, Go Seahawks!

Their "blackout" promotion with 5000 T-shirts given away was very cool. We've done the "wear gold" thing before, but never supported by a T-shirt give-away. I hope our athletic dept. was taking notes.

Valpo played probably their most complete game of the season. Sure, we were down by 7 at half but WSU was shooting 68%. The domination in the 2nd was impressive and Bwood isTHE MAN!! 26 pts!! Come on guys, the bandwagon has a few more seats!! Right now, I'm playin in that band. They beat Detroit, I'm first chair. They beat Butler - I'm wearin a tall fuzzy hat, wavin a big stick and and leading the parade!!!

Had a high school game to broadcast, so was shocked when we were told the score. Great job....Detroit got blasted by Butler, not sure what that will mean Sunday...but I'll be there, so hopefully we'll see a weekend sweep......

As Elmer Fudd would say "da best pard aboou it was when dey were wery quiwet" The real turning moment of the game was when the Crusaders called time out down 14. BWood was livid, Homer was screaming at the team. Bryce grabbed Brandon and must have challenged him to be the leader "on the court." Show the opponent how upset he was by taking his offense and " DEFENSE" to the Raiders. It was a real classic moment!
