Wright State came from behind to beat Youngstown at Youngstown, and Cleveland State took Detroit again at home.... This is gut-check time for Detroit. They fell apart down the stretch after leading 60-59.

With tonight's win, WSU raised its RPI to 97. We now have 3 teams in the Top 50 and 4 in the Top 100: Butler 24 CSU 35 Valpo 47 WSU 97

Probably the first time Horizon has had 4 in Top 100? Sure glad we're aboard. Entering the Horizon is likely AD LaBarbera's biggest achievement. Signing up the key coaches Avery, Woodson, and Drew would seem to rank high too.

4 post-season teams sounds like a pretty good idea too. Who knows? It would be a Horizon League first.
(Yeah, OK, the post-season's bigger than it used to be. But, since when does an expanding denominator get in the way of breaking records?)
(And, no, I don't suppose we'll break the more interesting records of 3 NCAA teams, or 3 "NCAA+NIT" teams.)
