Which seed will the Crusaders earn in this year's Horizon League tournament?

Guessing #2, but hoping for better, and hoping that we can avoid worse.
Pomeroy claims we've had the hardest conference schedule so far, with Butler at #2, and CSU at #5. Detroit at #10 (they have Butler, Valpo, and Wright State away, plus Cleveland State at home remaining on their schedule).
So, I guess that implies that Valpo has the easiest remaining schedule (though Butler's doesn't look so bad....).
The tiebreakers are still pretty muddled - with Wright State still playing each of the rest of the teams currently in the top 4.

I still think we will lose another game and get 4 losses and maybe even 5. I think that puts Valpo as the 2nd seed and CSU as 1st seed and host of the HL Tourney. By the way since you're voting in this poll you might as well go to this thread valpofans.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=generaltalk&action=display&thread=4549 and vote for how many losses you think the #1 seed will have. Will CSU win out? Will Valpo win out? Will both lose another game but Valpo win the tiebreaker?

I wonder if the voting would have come out differently had I waited to start the poll until after tonight's CSU loss?

After Monday's games, Pomeroy now projects Valpo and CSU to finish tied at 13-5. Wright State and Butler tied for third at 12-6.

Congrats on the win over Detroit tonight. Here is my thread starter on the Butler board:
It's looking more and more like Valparaiso, yes VALPO, has an excellent shot at winning the regular season title. They will finish off Detroit tonight, then play Wright State @ home then Milwaukee up in Wiskyland. They finish with the Chicago combo, so these next 2 games will decide their fate. Heck, they could probably split the next 2 and win it outright.
Cleveland State has a little tougher road, plus coming off back-to-back losses. they have to go to Wright State and host Milwaukee. The best they can hope for is a tie for first.
Wright State now has 5 losses, and still must play Valpo (away) and host both CSU and Detroit.
Butler has the easiest schedule remaining. Dare I say that I think they can run the table? There, I've said it.
Milwaukee, also with 5 losses, still must host Valpo and travel to CSU.
Of course, all of this is assuming that the rest of league cooperates, and loses their remaining games with these top 5.
This leaves all kinds of possibilities, including a tie for first (Valpo and CSU), a tie for second (Butler and CSU), or even a 3 or 4 way tie for second.
Other than my being pretty confident that Valpo will finish the deal, it's an all out scrum for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. Anything can happen.
Thoughts? ..........................................................................
You guys are in the driver's seat. This is Homer's best coaching year IMHO. Good balance and depth on the team, you would be an honorable rep in the big dance even if you don't win the Ho League tourney.
Congratulations Valpo Crusaders!
