Think I just saw something. Green Bay had the ball with 1.8 to go the length of the court. Andrew Smith was guarding the out of bounds. Given a pause, Shelvin Mack went up and whispered something to him. Sure enough, when the ref gave Green Bay the ball, Mack's man slid up to set a screen on Smith as the Phoenix player ran the baseline, and Smith was able to avoid the foul.
I'm guessing Mack warned him about the screen. That's leadership for you, if he did.
I still have not finished figuring out all the 1 seed scenarios yet, so I decided to see if I can catch up by just factoring out tonight's game after the fact. 16384 is half 32768, after all.... (No, I'm not considering each one individually, I'm only concerned with the #1 and #2 for now, so I pretty much handle chunks at a time. The problem is, there are still several subgroups of cases that go all the way down to the RPI tiebreaker at this point.
Hopefully, I can put something up tonight that at least scopes out the double-bye possibilities.
