I didn't watch the game, but am having a quick look at the Old Dominion vs. CSU game from this afternoon.
74-63 Old Dominion victory.
Norris Cole went off for _35_, setting the all-time Bracketbuster single game scoring record. 8-15 from three.
I almost don't believe the box score on rebounds. The Vikings were outrebounded _51_ to 22?!!?!?! I mean, part of this was their poor shooting (34%), but Old Dominion was converting on almost 50% of offensive rebound opportunities. Old Dominion had two guys record double doubles.
Interesting to see the other top Bracketbuster scorers. Number three, at 32 points, is none other than Shawn Huff. Number four was Vaughn Duggins yesterday.

I watched the game. Poor floor posiitioning and almost complete reliance on Cole for the offense. Too much even for a player like Cole.

Watched the game as well. ODU was relentless while cleaning the glass. Norris and the Cole Miners didn't stand a chance with the Monarch's aggressive play and their own bad shooting stretches...

Not sure how this thread got to be an "Announcement"? I don't think I did that.

Wouldn't it be just too sweet if Milwaukee had it in them to play giant-killers one more time when they travel to Cleveland on Thursday!

No it wouldn't....we need Milwaukee to lose to Cleveland State, because we have the tie-breakers over Butler and CSU if we win out or tie CSU. Milwaukee by virtue of their two wins over Butler would have the tie-breaker over us....we have to win tonight first though

We'd have the 1 seed hands down.

Our pal from UWM is breaking with his usual pattern of hating on the Phoenix tonight ("Rivalry be damned", he said on his facebook page). That's exactly the way I'd play it too, of course, if I were in his shoes
