Jon Diebler scored 30 points last night for Ohio State against Penn State on only 10 shots and without a free throw attempt. How you ask? He shot 83% from 3 (10-12). Crazy night! Would have been nice to have him in a Valpo uniform like we should/could have.

Would have been nice to have him in a Valpo uniform like we should/could have. I saw the first half of the game and he was literally unstoppable. He was making contested threes, threes off of movement, kickout threes... I used to feel like you that he "should" have come to Valpo, but I have come to believe he clearly made the right choice. His style of play is much better suited to a team like OSU's and, quite frankly, playing at Valpo would have been a mistake for him.

Jon may have even transfered up to a BCS school after 1 or 2 years at Valpo. It doesn't happen often but if he had chosen Valpo and then a BCS school it would have been the smart decision.
