Valpo teams have started the year out 14-2-2. :cheers This doesn't count the 4 wins for the men's basketball team. A very solid start. Is this the year when we win a conference championship?? I think so. :dance

Through September 11, Valpo is 17-4-2, in head to head competition and not counting exhibition games.

valpo is currently down 2 sets to none against a lackluster Butler volleyball squad. This is quite embarrassing but Coach Avery was quite angry going into the half so we'll see what happens!

After Sunday's action, Valpo now 24-11-4 but only 3-4 against league opponents.
Women's soccer in a down pattern and men's soccer lost league opener as well as Volleyball losing to Butler (yikes!). I think this says a lot about how tough the Horizon is in many sports.

Things are getting bad. I've now added swimming and tennis to the result, two historically pretty bad sports, but our more competitive sports aren't doing well either.
Through yesterday, 10-16, we are overall 32-49-6. Against conference opponents we are 13-29-1.
If you just look at men's and women's soccer and Volleyball, three sports where we were picked to be near the top, we are 27-15-6 but only 7-11-1 in the Horizon.
Still time to make a run but more likely will need a championship in the conference tourney to go to the NCAAs.
