The Toreros miss a 37 yard field goal on the last play of the half and the Crusaders are down 10-7 at the half. Who would have thunk it?

Gover obviously didn't read the "How to tackle" thing. San Diego scores within 1 minute of beginning of 3rd quarter when D-back doesn't make the tackle. SD 17- VU 7.

Teams trade field goals and SD leads 20-10 with about 4 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. At least they aren't rolling up the score on Valpo.
That was Valpo's first field goal of the year.

In our last possession, we got to the SD 17-yard-line, and didn't get anywhere, even though we intended to get a TD, no field goal if possible. Turnover on downs.

I think the team will perform better this week, but still a loss. 35-10 San Diego wins it. Maybe it will be 7-7 or 7-3 at the end of the first quarter! An even better result than you predicted. I concede that you made a much better prediction. Nice job! It's good to see the team make some progress. Butler didn't even score against the Toreros in San Diego. Can we beat Butler in football? That would be nice! FINAL SCORE San Diego 30-Valpo 10

And this is what I am refering to with progress. Nobody was expecting much in the way of wins (well, I wasn't), but at least show signs of life. This was a sign of life. Progress, who knew?

San Diego was something like 2-5 going into this game. Plus with the rains California had been getting, the Toreros were slowed by a field that was getting torn apart, as you could see in the middle seam of the three portions of sod/grass. It made it seem like we had a chance, and we did a great job of holding them from destroying us. We just need to see this kind of progress at home this weekend.

We just need to see this kind of progress at home this weekend. Right! If they go out and lose to Butler by 6 touchdowns, then it was a fluke to be in a game. Hopefully that is not the case???
