The weather is suppose to be mid-6o's and dry which is better weather then VU experienced at Campbell in the first half to throw the ball. If VU can score first (early), I think there is a good shot at being competitive. VU was very competitve against San Diego in the first half (10-7). Morehead State just got beat by San Diego 39-0. It all comes down to how many players want to win, or do they want to pack in up for the season.

I'll just go with statistical averages
Morehead State 47.70 Valpo 8.50
On a positive note, it's the last game of the year!

68-0. Nobody needs to say which score goes with which team.

TGIFO. Loserball is finally over. 0-11 and 20 consecutive losses over two years. Can't get any worse than that,or can it? Next year? Why bother?

Hey, let's look at the positive. This seasons debacle is over and basketball has started. I have no idea what the schedule brings for next year, but the non conference slate had better include some serious cupcakes or else it could be another winless season. Does PNC or IUN have a football team yet? Can they start one by next season? There's nothing I've seen that shows Valpo can even be competetive in a conference game yet alone win so I am not counting on anything there. I know that they have YSU as part of the non conference schedule and that's a certain loss. I think that leaves 3 other possible wins...those three game could be very, very important to Valpo not being on this list... espn.go.com/page2/s/list/colfootball/teams/worst.html

I don't think they're there yet and won't be unless they go winless next year too. It's going to take another season or two like this to approach that designation. Most of the teams on that list have horrific losing streaks, and the team that are on there with streaks close to Valpo's are bigger D1 programs. 30 losses in a row would make it interesting though.

I think the athletic administration needs to do whatever possible, this week, to get out of that Youngstown game. Not only could the score be atrocious, but it could be dangerous to the Valpo players. Do the right thing, bite the bullet and say the program is in no shape to play an opponent of that magnitude, and re-schedule if for 4 years down the road.
