Once the weather gets a little nicer, I might take a few pictures. I'm quite curious myself as to the progress so far.

I enjoyed your responses as well, oldtimer. When it comes to that, I've noticed that often my post is the last one on a thread, as I expect this one to be. Thinking about changing my screen name to "threadkiller"

I went by the football field today, and I barely noticed any signs of construction. I'm not really sure what field surface replacement looks like, but all I saw was a couple of small post markers, a small trench, and a truck parked under the bleachers.

I went by the field yesterday, and this is what I saw. I'm not even sure if those constuction vehicles are related to the field or not. Other than that there's just a little dirt here and there.

The excavators were on the field today working. I only drove by, so I didn't get a look at what they were doing. The do, however, have the parking lot (the former tennis courts) at the west end of the field closed to traffic now. That had become a nice little cut-through for folks coming from the north and east trying to get to the back side of the ARC without going through campus or around the hospital.

They're progressing I suppose...lots of earth being moved. I haven't paid very close attention the last few days...
I have business at the ARC Thursday and will look then.

As of yesterday about noon, about half of the old turf has been torn out. They are making good progress.

Great news. I saw big piles of dirt from the ARC yesterday too.
