Any idea where Kyle of MidMajority is going to be? Press row? Always wanted to introduce myself and thank him for a great website. Most likely press row - shouldn't be oversubscribed like the last time he was in town (Purdue). Classically he's wearing a suit with sneakers, and Bally should be on display. If you're reading this from the game, you can also follow his twitter feed twitter.com/midmajorityhe normally tweets during games.

If you would have told me that CSU would only have 19 points with less than 4 minutes to play in the first half I would have not believed it. Unfortunately if you said Valpo would only score 12 I would have believed it. Good thing is that Valpo has CSU in foul trouble & that will last all game. It just shows that Sunday afternoon games can take a funny/strange turn many times.

Let's go, Valpo! Always remember that no one in this league and few in college basketball are going to try to push you around quite like the Vikings. In fact, you pretty much know what they have in mind when they plant a sledgehammer at midcourt in the pregame. I'm impressed with how Valpo has pushed back. What a metamorphosis from last season! Now, I'd like to see Rowdy regain his confidence on the open looks. We all know that he is capable. In the meantime, did I just hear that Butler is losing by six in the second half!

Yes, YSU leads Butler 61-53 with about 12 minutes left. Hinkle is very quiet.

Matt Howard just flopped to draw a 4th foul on Ogle with 11:30 to play. Watching them during Valpo halftime. Might be the worst charge call in two years.

Now it's 69-66 Butler after a 16-5 Bulldog run.

Did anybody get that quote?
"It we like a bear running over a racoon?"
Hilarious!

In the meantime, the worm has turned at Valpo!

If we try to run clock in any more games I am going to go insane.

Again, missed free throws and turnovers (and failure to capitalize on the odd-man breaks) at the end of a game...
With three minutes left, this looked like a "statement" win in the HL this season - essentially a message to all the other teams that even the top of the league wasn't going to be able to come to the ARC and win.
Howard and Ryan bailed us out with the save/three with 30 second left and the Cole's missed free throws helped a ton, but again, WE HAVE TO FINISH GAMES MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!!!
However, all of that said...its a win against one of the teams that is expected to be at the very top of the standings and that's a positive. Probably a day off tomorrow for the guys, then back at it on Tuesday and trying to get better.

Good defense.
Very impressive ball handling, in fact. Lots of pressure from CSU, and it caused very few turnovers ( but did affect some offensive sets).
Big win!

Good DEFENSE wins! Free throws would have really made it a lot easier.

The defense on Cole was impressive. The rotation of Buggs, Little, and Harris really did a nice job on him.
Did they even take him off the point towards the end? It seemed like they were playing him in the corners, trying to get him some points.
