BTW, Wood can teach a thing or two to Cutler after that gutty performance. Horizon POY voters, please take notice. Howard is good, but Wood is this year's POY (as of now). Haha, I love Brandon Wood, but Matt Howard is hands down the HL POY. He's averaging 18 and 8 while shooting 51/46/82 percent. Make "nose" mistake, Matt Howard is the "pick" for HL POY. I concur. Its scary to think how bad things might be without him.

This is way off topic, but in my own opinion, Cutler should have played...if you can walk, you can play, if you can touch it you can catch it. Byron Leftwich played on a broken leg, I would think Cutler could have managed to play with a (supposed) grade 2 MCL sprain. ESPN's Mike Golic had a great point before the injury was reported...of course the Bears orginization is going to say he was severely injured...what other choice do they have...come out and say he could have played? Or, they were telling the truth, and playing on a broken leg is idiotic.

I have alot more respect for backup Byron Leftwich than I do for Jay Cutler. Oh, and watch Maurkice Pouncey play with a broken ankle and a high anke sprain this Sunday! If you don't want to play hurt, don't play football. www.post-gazette.com/pg/11028/1121190-66.stm

Now let's get back to the Crusaders finding a way to win this league....

I'll say it again: Cutler wanted to play, but was overruled by the coaches. This is one of the reasons why Football is one of my "I can take it or leave it" sports. I'm not even going to notice the Super Bowl. I'll probably be sleeping anyway.

THAT is still possible!!! I don't want to get in to a tougness debate or my athletic ability, and I certainly did not have the talent to be anything remotely close to a professional athelete! I had about as much chance of that happening as me growing horns and turning purple. Also. thinking Cutler should have played is just a personal opinion. And I understand why you asked what have I done because people say "oh he should have played" when there is absolutely no chance they would have done the same. I am not trying to brag here, so if you want a list, I'll PM you.

Anyone know the status of Matt Kenney? Obviously, he was walking with crutches after the Youngstown St. game, but is there anything confirmed (or unofficial)?

As has been stated before Valpo plays it close to the chest when reporting about injured players. We won't know anything for sure until Thursday when the Crusaders take the floor against Detroit. Even if they know Kenney is going to play they won't say that because they don't want Detroit to know that is a sure thing.

Also, my thought is that-- if it were really bad-- they'd just come out with it. Perhaps it's not as bad as "out for the season", but not as sure as "available for Thursday".
