You can e-mail your complaints to ESPN TV, as I did before concerning a problem I saw in a broadcast. The responded within a day and the problem has not occurred again. I totally agree, this broadcast crew were really really bad. I don't know where I compare in most fans minds, but I really hope I am better than that. That was embarassing.... Can you help me out a little more on this emailing ESPN TV thing? I'd kinda like to give them a cordial piece of my mind as well. I don't see a good place on their website to do this.

Here is the url for their feedback form....you might have to register to access it if you haven't already. It's free, so don't worry about that.... r.espn.go.com/members/contact/index or you can go to their site and at the bottom of the page click on contact us and you should get to the feedback section eventually

It was all website related as far as I could see.

The problem with yesterday's broadcast from a professional standpoint was that you had a tandem that was unfamiliar with the league ... and possibly only aware of one team. I had this same conversation with David Kaplan before the Milwaukee-Detroit game about getting him on the championship telecast instead of Dickey Simpkins. He responded that you've got to have someone who knows the league to pull off a successful program. Of course, David and Jim Barbar were occupied with the Milwaukee-Green Bay telecast on ESPNU and did a splendid job as usual. Here's hoping that they get the H League tournament games on the Family of Networks and Charlie and Kara, well, don't. Go, Pack, go! Kaplan's not a 10 on my rating scale, but I'm hard pressed to come up with someone better who is knowledgeable about the HL, so I'm good with that choice. Good for you for mentioning it to him. I really doubt we get Charlie Neal and Kara Lawson. I've never seen those two paired up before, and never on a HL game. My thought was that ESPN saw Butler plummet and downgraded the broadcast team. This pair might well be, as I think I said, at the bottom of the depth chart. If I had to predict, I'd say they give it to Jim Barbour and Dave Kaplan -- they've had it in recent years, haven't they? I know Kaplan did the semifinal games in 2008.

I'm guessing Rakestraw and Louvell, although they are a little pro-Butler...but they do a good job overall
