First prediction for the Loyola game. With "little" left to play for, I think the Loyola game will end up in a loss I just wanted you to remember this prediction after the Green Bay game. posttrib.suntimes.com/sports/3974488-556/vu-hopes-for-big-rebound.html VU hopes for big rebound “There are so many different scenarios right now,” senior Howard Little said. “We’re just worrying about the next game, because that’s what we have to do right now. We can’t depend on other teams. We have to win our two games. And whether we have to play four games for a championship or just two, we’ll do whatever we have to do.” Drew took solace in his team’s ability to rebound from losses. The Crusaders have lost back-to-back games just once all season, against Purdue and at Toledo back in December. Some of their most impressive wins — a rout of Youngstown State, the big home win over Butler, and last Saturday’s trouncing of Missouri State — have come immediately following tough-to-swallow losses. “The last two losses were devastating and frustrating,” Drew said. “But this team has strong character, and they’ve come back from adversity before. That’s what we’re hoping for again.”

I don't see Valpo losing this one, because they SHOULD be mad as hell about losing both of the games in Wisconsin. If they win this one easily, which I think they will, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them lose to UIC to end the season, however.

I think they'll win because they are the better team. Not because they're mad, upset, bothered, annoyed, or anything else.

I sure hope for a win, but we have no momentum so I wouldn't be surprised at a loss tonight.

If the players are the competitors that Homer says they are, they win the two games to build momentum going into the HL tournament.

If they were the competitors Homer says they are, they wouldn't have laid an egg in the first half against Green Bay in a must win game. That said, I think they'll win this game.

I think the UIC game is senior night, and if true there's no way they lose.

I believe they are, but a lot of competitors have their moments when they fall short of that. I think we can certainly say that they haven't reached the level of competitiveness that Butler had last year, but then neither has Butler reached that level this year.

This used to be an inside out team...they have slowly gone away from that. Especially the last few!

Geez..we must not be playing very well so far tonite, or maybe Loyola is and will come down to earth at some point? But, only 13 points for Valpo with 6 minutes left in the 1st half? Getting outrebounded and outshot. Common now, let's GO VALPO!!

Down 34-26 at halftime. I've not had a chance to watch live online, but, we must of played a little better toward the end of the 1st half. At least we cut the Loyola lead to less than 10 points. Now if we can come out strong in the 2nd half and put Loyola back on their heels. And hopefully somebody for Valpo in the 2nd half gets hot and makes a few 3-point shots! Just take them within the flow of the offense, don't force them. No time like the present!! GO VALPO!!

Valpo closes the gap some, 43-37 Loyola with about 10 minutes left after a McCammon 3 pointer.

Wow, we have lost all momentum and crashed. Maybe we can salvage 5th place? I'm going to have a hard time following this team at all anymore this season. Ughh.
