Good question posed by Todd -- when was the last time we had 2 guys go for 30 or more? I have no recollection of it over the past 30 years. Maybe back in the Bruce Lindner days.

When Buggs and Rogers each hit 3s on successive possessions for their first 3s all year, we better win this one.

Is this boxscore right? Cory Johnson has 33 points and Brandon Wood has 32?
Can someone confirm?
This would be at worst the H League's third-best win of the non-conference season to date, behind UIC's wins over Illinois and Rhode Island.

Oh man, I wish I could watch this game.
C'mon, Erik. Sink those shots.
We could be the ninth-ranked league in the country in a few minutes.

There it is again. Sloppy stupid basketball down the stretch almost caught us again. Up 10 with a minute left. All you have to do is make your FTs. Stupid. Why would they inbound the ball to the worst FT shooter on the team 3 consecutive times?!?! Better yet, why would Buggs even be in the game? I'd rather see Nick Shelton out there.

what an exhibition by Cory and Brandon!!! Unbelievable!! Kampe must be so pissed his old friend Homer took him down AGAIN!!
What can our friends on the board be critical of this time?? We beat a VERY good team at THEIR place, scored a hundred points and our two stars went for over 30 EACH!!!
And the, WHAT A FINISH!!
Get on the bandwagon folks, this team is going places!!!

BIG WIN. ON THE ROAD. In their tourney and with the first half foul differential. Some FT shooting issues down the stretch but held on. Why would we want it any other way than like this?

WOW...What...A...GAME. A shootout through and through! 56, Come on...I know we missed our free throws, but Oakland hit a few desperation 3's. Can't ask for more than a road win against a team of this caliber!

It was a great game by Valpo up until about the one minute mark of the second half. It still pisses me off that they can't just put a team away.

Just think what would happen if we had a coach who could make adjustments at halftime....... Great win in a tough place to play....I know "56 will see the negatives, but i don't care...great great win.....

I love to beat Oakland! We really need this game to happen every year. They are always a good mid-major team and it is a great rivalry.
Crazy game.....in the future perhaps consider taking Buggs out at FT time...save me a heart attack!

Come on 56, Erik got the ball because he is the fatest player on our team and they were pressuring all over the court. And, by the way, our BEST FT shooter Ryan, missed a couple as well. Forget it ! WE WON!!
