According to Grizzfan1 on the OU message board, all OU home games can be seen at channelsurfing.net. I'd say the Valpo/Eastern game is doubtful, but anything's possible. He says to also try atdhe.net. If you can find either of our games at either place, be sure to look for me courtside

If you go to midmajority.com, and look on the right panel, there is a section entitled pixelvision. It has links to all games that are streamed live online for the day. I found a stream of the Toledo game there, and if either of those links work, I assume it could be found there.

I like Valpo's positioning in this tourney. We have another shot to beat a team winless against d-1 teams, and then an opportunity to beat a d-1 team in Oakland with an impressive win over Tennessee, assuming they beat non d-1 Rochester. Should be interesting, and a nice potential confidence-booster, heading into conference play in a few weeks.

If Oakland plays Rochester like they played Michigan today, that gives Valpo some real hope of coming home with some holiday hardware. I believe Oakland lost by about 15 or so to the Wolverines, who aren't a great basketball team, but they are getting there under John Beilien.
The next two games should be great, if we play slightly better than we did tonight. Maybe shoot some honest 3s that we can make, instead of throwing up some soft 3s that clank off the rim.

Hopefully if/when we get to play Oakland, Howard and Mike will be able to motivate the team about why they should really want to beat Oakland, because the rest of the team has never played the Golden Grizzlies before.

I say Valpo wins by 3 over the Ypsilanti, MI team and then we pound the Kampe led squad, Oakland, into submission with impressive defense by 15 points. It will be deja vu for the Grizzlies coach and he will be steaming mad. But it will inspire a new novel where faceless medival crusaders flash forward to the future and meet a pack of blond bears when suddenly one of the time travelers grows a menacing face & the bears are defeated.

Howard and Mike have never played them either. That'll have to be left up to Homer.

If they play like they did against Michigan, you may get your wish (and it will bring back fond memories for me), but I just don't see it. I think they beat us by 8-10 points.

I guess it's true, time flies when you're playing mediocre basketball (or something like that ).

Last night's game plan was masterful. More patience and discipline on the offensive end and more physical play on the defensive end than I’ve personally witnessed since the 07-08 season. Examples: • We went deep into the shot clock on almost every possession. • Every offensive set was designed to get the ball inside, either into the low post or set up for a back door. • 3-pointers were taken only after every other possibility was explored. • With rare exception, anyone who took a 3 early in the shot clock (even if it was a good look) was yanked and talked to. • We got 27 points from the post position. • We took the 2nd fewest 3-pt. shots of any game this year = evidence of patience and discipline. • We had the 2nd fewest offensive possessions of any game this year = further evidence of patience and discipline. If we follow this formula in Oakland, we will have a new piece of hardware to add to the trophy case.

To me as always it was the defense that won the IPFW game and despite all the good things we saw about the Valpo offense (patience and discipline being real keys) Valpo does not win this game without the excellent defensive play.
