rlh,
Are you coming fro WSU, or straight from Valpo? Are you staying in Detroit? I would recommend the Greektown Casino Hotel. Will you take in the auto show as well?

But, I'm sure it will look better after a crusader victory!

Observations so far from the Butler/Detroit game: - Detroit does not share the ball AT ALL! Street ball offense! - They play in your face defense, but are very bad at help side. They are very athletic, but they don't play very well as a team. If we play smart, I think we can beat them in their gym.

Without him, they don't have the "eraser" on the inside. If we can attack him early and get him in foul trouble, hopefully the game will look similar.

Great victory @ WSU guys! I'm getting more and more sorry I didn't buy a ticket for the BU/Valpo showdown! Detroit looked absolutely pathetic against Butler. No offense, no defense. How much is Holman worth? You will find out Sunday. But winning in the Nut with that atmosphere (and the way you came from behind) is indeed impressive. Go get 'em in the Motor City!

Stax, there are still tickets available for the Butler game at the ARC. The seats aren't any worse than sitting in the second level of Hinkle and are only $10. Come on up for the game!

Very important turnaround game. These can be tough and you cant live in your past victory. Or for that matter start looking ahead to butler. I think the team is on a roll and hopefully it will continue

I suspect Holman being out had a lot to do with it. If he's an indispensable part of their rotation, that was absolutely the worst time for him to get suspended. It still says something about them that they fell apart without him, but it might not say much about how they're going to be tomorrow when they face us. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Hope you can snag a 10 dollar ticket and make it up on the 29th. Wouldn't it be something if we were still tied for first place that night? Heady stuff, this.

As i understand it, Holman was suspended for the Butler game because of the "fight" he was in in the game before. NCAA rules that if the referee's describe it as a fight, you are ejected and suspended for the next game....there is some debate on the Detroit site if it was a fight or not, but that's the rule
