This game is a sellout basically, so it won't be half empty. The problem I have is that there were more students at the women's game tonight against Milwaukee than there were at the men's game last Sunday. There is something very wrong with how the students are being appealed too.....very wrong I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion Dick, but it simply isn't accurate. If you are referring to the three teams that were there tonight and 10 non student-athletes, it may have appeared that was the case. However, there were far more students (especially non student-athletes) at Sunday's game. As for how students are being "appealed to," I'd challenge you to identify just one way in which the appealing to students for tonight's game was superior to what was done last Sunday.

I'm not on campus, so I have no idea how students are appealed too....I thought that was my question....and the three teams that were in attendance tonight WERE more than were their Sunday. We were ramarking about it at the scorers table. Why I don't know, just thought it was an interesting observation....and I came to the conclusion because I actually counted 22 people in the student section Sunday (not counting the band) 5 minutes before tip....and there weren't more than 40 or so for the entire game. If there were others standing around the track as has been asserted before, they came desquised as railings.

Ok, I gotta ask. Where did the "Bad Dog" flyer in the first post originate? Is this something that was distributed around campus or did someone create it just for this site? Either way - that's way to funny and I'm impressed with someones skills.

It is a really cool pic.

"If Valpo was 100% healthy this would be an instance where I’d pick them to win by a few buckets, but they’re not, so it’s more like a toss-up. "

How many fans does a sell-out actually put in the facility? Do you have more than 1 concession stand? When I have been there I have only seen one open concession stand.

There is a second concession stand upstairs that can be opened. A sell out usually means roughly 5500. The Butler game on ESPN 2 in February of '08 and the Purdue game this year are tied for the highest attendance ever at an incredibly accurate 5,432 fans (I wonder how they came up with that number?).

There is one concession stand at floor level east end and one in the upper level hallway behind the mezzanine. There is a big sign at the west end of the mezzanine seating area with the word "concessions" and a directional arrow. Both concession stands are almost always open unless students are on break.

Good luck tomorrow guys, though I doubt you'll need it. Valpo 79 Butler 68 I think tomorrow's outcome depends in large part on two things we don't know much about at this point - which Butler team shows up and which Valpo players are in street clothes. Personally, I'd like to like to see a real barn burner like the '08 game - but please, no Pete Campbell heroics!
