Should we assume that the dog took a leak on our logo?

You may assume whatever you want.

Would have been really funny if this were the actual BU Bulldog, somehow acquired by VU students, then returned unharmed!
Go Crusaders!
I'm hoping for a healthy team and some good play.
VU 72 BU 69
Beat Butler!

The Crusader is just taking him to a no-kill shelter though...

This is the most important game of the year, in my opinion. Despite having a better record, I think Butler will once again defeat us and kill our momentum. If we lose again, I doubt the students (and most fans for that matter) will be back this year. I've only known a VU team that Butler has dominated every year, so I see no difference this year. Please prove me wrong, Valpo!

Essentially you are saying that the Butler game is "Groundhog Day" this year and has been for the last few. I can see your point. And paying customers can do as they wish.
However, I still puzzle as to why so few students come out of their hole once per year (or twice if Purdue is at VU) and and go back in for the season, I think that is pretty unwise of them. They will put Valparaiso on their resume for a lifetime.

Hopefully the croud will help. As for bein "dominated" every year, if you mean they have won every game then we agree. If you actually mean "dominated", I'd check the scores again.

Score-wise, you're right, but it sure feels like we've been dominated in loss after loss. And a close loss in the final seconds just makes it worse sometimes.

Everyone is entitlled to their predictions but history trends are irrelevant to this years team and that is who I am rooting for Saturday. I am sure, despite injuries, they are pumped up and their confidence is where it needs to be to compete. Thats enough for me to believe this will be our first butler victory in years. Maybe if the fans all stood on their feet for the final 5 minutes of the Green Bay and cheered their tails of, maybe we could of energiezed the team just enought to pull that game out. We saw them fallilng apart and maybe we could helped them focus and pull it together if we all got behind them and made sure they knew how dedicated their fans were. We didn't give them a homecourt advantage in that one. I saw many walk out with more than 3 minutes remaining.

That said, I can agree with what you say. I'm just not sure it would have made that much difference. It was just a scheduling nightmare that could only have been truly fixed by playing the game at night. The reason why people were leaving is because they had a football game to watch.

This game is a sellout basically, so it won't be half empty. The problem I have is that there were more students at the women's game tonight against Milwaukee than there were at the men's game last Sunday. There is something very wrong with how the students are being appealed too.....very wrong
